01 · Today: what needs a decision
The brief.
Dakota Capital builds and remodels homes. Every invoice from its subcontractors and suppliers has to be matched to a job and a purchase order, then kept in step across Buildertrend and QuickBooks. An AP agent now reads each invoice. The team needed one place to see what needs a decision, check the agent's read against the PDF, approve in a click, and catch where the two systems disagree. We designed and built that dashboard.
What we built.
Everything that needs a decision, first.
Each invoice is a card: vendor, job address, the agent's confidence, the amount. Tabs split it into needs review, escalated, approved, blocked and failed, and anyone can ask the AP agent a question from the bar at the bottom.

02 · Inbox · 03 · On a phone
The invoice and the agent's read, side by side.
The PDF on the left, what the agent pulled from it on the right: vendor, amount, job, purchase order, cost code and line items. Approve, escalate or reject in one click.

04 · Invoice detail
Two systems, one reconciliation.
Buildertrend and QuickBooks side by side. Amount mismatches, status conflicts and bills that exist in only one system each get a flag, the action needed, and an export.

05 · Reconciliation
A record of every action.
Every write, approval and rollback, by day, searchable by vendor or bill number.
